Kampala Medical & Allied Health Workers Cooperative Society (KAMACOS) is a non-government, autonomous, member owned organization whose purpose is to bring medical professionals and allied health workers together for economic development and humanitarian service. It is a non-sectarian organization open to all people regardless of race, gender, religion, and political preference. We intend to provide free medical services in the selected areas across the country. This activity is intended to alleviate pain and suffering and to give the sick hope.

note: as a co-operative, we intend to participate in the 100th international cooperative day organized by the ministry of trade, industry, and cooperatives. also gracing the event as the chief guest is h.e yoweri tibuhaburwa kaguta museveni.
the period and the planned activities include:-
a) diagnosis and treatment of general medical conditions and referrals of unique cases to health centers and hospitals for further investigation.
1. malaria testing & distribution of mosquito nets
2. hiv/aids testing, counselling, and referral for management
3. hepatitis b testing, immunization, and referral for management
4. family planning, and education
5. diabetes/blood sugar testing
6. blood pressure checkup
7. cervical, breast, and prostate cancer screening
8. sickle cells screening
9. eye clinic
10. dental clinic
11. safe male circumcision

b) public health and other sensitization sessions on hygiene and sanitation, maternal health, teenage pregnancies, the campaign against gender-based violence, and environmental protection.
